This conversion manual is one of the easiest to understand out of all the manuals in this list. The main focus of the author is to get your home converted to solar and/or wind power as quickly, easily and cheaply as possible. It is a strong contender in this list but does make some strong claims on the return on your initial investment.

Like others in our list, it covers the complete solar power system from panel to usage and the illustrations are easy to understand. The author is clear and concise and provides step-by-step instructions. The author also claims that you can make a solar panel for $100... though I believe that this is only a smaller portable unit. Other than that, this is still a very good product that covers all you will need to complete a solar power conversion.
